Tell us about your artistic background and experience. What led you to pursue art as a creative outlet?:

since I was young I've found myself immersed into the world of creative expression. From simple sketches to watercolor to acrylic and more I've explored art in various ways my curiosity and creativity expanding each time. Unspoken words pent up emotions and sides of me that remain hidden to me never eluded my canvas from the early onset of my formative years.art has been a great medium to express myself

What inspires you as an artist? Are there specific themes or subjects that you find yourself drawn to?:

The human mind is a complex and diverse in many ways and humans remain in pursuit to understand it fully . My self study in psychology and fanaticism in social issues has enabled me to further understand my thoughts and the reality of the world around us and this hastruly become my greatest muse. My goal is to create artwork that evokes emotion and question to all who perceive it, to challenge issues through my canvas

What do you hope to communicate or evoke through your art? Is there a specific message or emotion that you strive to convey to your audience?

I hope to give social commentary through my canvas and paint. As a woman there are a myriad of challenges I have faced and these have shaped me to become who I am for better or for worse. I aim for my art to address my thoughts experiences and emotions for example the piece I have presented is about how women have been conditioned to accept and hold pride in the lustful pursuit of men. All in all I hope to evoke curiosity in all who see my pieces

Are there any particular artists or art movements that have influenced your work? How have they shaped your artistic perspective?

My mother-my first and greatest inspiration and all in all a great artist

How do you handle criticism or feedback on your artwork? How do you use it to grow and improve as an artist?

A different perspective is a blessing we often miss. I am blessed to receive criticism for it mean that my work has reached someone enough to bring them to draw conclusions. Through receiving criticism gauging it and making changes I’ve been able to improve my craft and try new mediums.without constructive criticism growth is limited

Are there any specific goals or aspirations you have for your artistic career? How do you plan to pursue them?

I aspire to soon be featured in an art gallery as well as growing my art portfolio. I also aim to inspire more artists specifically young kids through the free art classes I have done at children’s homes. I plan to pursue these through consistency and hardwork.
